The palo santo (Latin name, Bursera Graveolens) in this formulation is wildcrafted in Ecuador and sustainably harvested solely from fallen trees and branches. We source specifically from a non-endangered species, not to be confused with Bulnesia Sarmientoi. Palo santo essential oil is extracted using vapor distillation, without the use of dangerous chemicals or solvents. This ensures a safe, eco-conscious approach without harming the land or destroying a single tree. We partner with a distributor who keeps a close relationship and connection to the family and with the local communities in Ecuador. They are committed to reforestation and giving back to the planet. Since 2008, our partner has planted over 30,000 trees back into the area and continues to support farmworkers with a fair wage. Cardamom is a spice from the ginger family with hints of fennel and eucalyptus. It serves as the heart note of our non-toxic perfume, anchoring its warm essence with a serenely resinous scent.
Peru balsam has a sweet aroma with vanilla-tinged undertones. And, because it’s a rich source of benzoic acid, peru balsam is naturally cleansing and acts as a purifying veil for hair and skin.

This is my new favorite Annmarie product! I have been trying to get used to shampooing my hair less often, but sometimes it didn’t smell as sweet as I’d like…until this came along! The smell of this spray is incredible- earthy and heavenly at the same time! A quick spritz is all it takes to lift my hair out of the doldrums without a trace of stickiness or greasiness. I would use it on my body too if my hair didn’t get jealous!

I tried this spray with hopes of finding a scent to replace perfume. I usually like earthy scents, this one isn’t for me. I thought it had a scent of smoke or a campfire. Not my personal taste. I do use it as a body spray while I look for another product. I have noticed it does bring a sense of calming. I spray it in my hair before I go in for a massage therapy session. Wonderfully relaxed afterwards.

I just love this spray. The scent is incredible and I can't get enough of it. I also have the cream which really plumps up my skin and makes it look younger. On a hot summer night its especially surreal.
